Coffepainting: An evening in June

Holy darn I drew something resembling manga/anime/whatever. In coffee no less.

Inspired by this song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jtXsP… . I know it is a weird song but it always reminds me of my grandfather (mothers side). He was my best friend when I grew up and I miss him still today. He was the kindest old man and always tried to be there for us. The song is a million times better in Swedish but I tried to translate it for you.

Well it was an evening in June
When summer is at it´s best
She was dancing for her grandfather
whom she loved the most
Her grandfather sat down humming
a summers melody
Suddenly the old man got to his feet
he became young and he became free

He took of his jacket
kicked off both his shoes
and he spit out the snuff (snus I do not know a better translation)
said: my beauty: may I have this dance?
She was beautiful
He was proud
His back straight as a pine-tree
It was summer
it was happiness
and they danced and they sang.

Oh you should have seen your grandmother
she was as beautiful as you
When we where dancing in the grass
the same way you do now
Her hair was bleached by the sun
her lips red as wild strawberries
She was sweet as a lily
Her love was like embers

So I took of my jacket
kicked off both my shoes
and I spit out the snuff
said: my beauty: may I have this dance?
She was beautiful
I was proud
My back straight as a pine-tree
It was summer
it was happiness
and we danced and we sang.
